Our 'Aida' heirloom engagement ring setting is a square-cut stone version of our original 'Teodora' ring.  Vintage-inspired with intricate details that's sure to delight, the ring is adorned with foliage and border moldings, forming an elegant setting for your beautiful square cut stone.  Petals emerge like prongs from corners of the gallery to hold your stone securely in place.  Sculpted details consisting of perennial foliage and berries (meant to represent the fruit bearer, nurturer and provider in you) flow freely yet precisely on all sides of ring's gallery.

Additionally, chevron (v shaped) motifs on two sides of the ring band visually connects the stone gallery to the band.  Chevron motifs hold universal meanings such as commitment, dedication, bravery, two forces uniting etc, and have been used in classical mythology, during Spartan/Roman/Greek societies and today (military).  When viewed from sides, these chevron motifs are meant to look like wings to serve as a reminder of the fearless and protective spirit in you.
